A research based, cognitive restructuring program for felony and repeat theft offenders.
 Our New and improved StopWatch program includes

a property Victims Impact Panel!

StopWatch is a five session program for Juvenile Offenders. StopWatch uniquely implements topics dealing with issues involving attitudes, values, beliefs, standards, internal v.s. external controls, decision making skills and more. The intent is to provide useful and new information to assist young people when making decisions.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

StopWatch is for youth who are 12 through 17 (18 if still in school) years of age

StopWatch sessions will have a maximum of 8 in attendance

We encourage parents to attend the first session of StopWatch, however, don't recommend parents attend the remaining sessions. We encourage parents to contact the counselor after their child has completed the program.

APPROPRIATE YOUTH FOR STOPWATCH

Youth who were involved in a felony theft incident, or

Youth who are on probation for any theft related crime, or

Bold, daring or chronic offenders, or

Those struggling with issues of thievery and wanting help, or

Youth whose parent is concerned and wants help, or

Those needing reinforcement of basic concepts of "THEFT TALK"™, or

Youth who has been referred to "THEFT TALK"™ for a second time, or

Those wanting to make better decisions in their life.

 

StopWatch® is a powerful program designed for juveniles who may be bold or repeat offenders. StopWatch® confronts interpersonal issues involving beliefs, attitudes, values, standards and moral dilemmas, and provides a foundation for self assessment.
